Porter Harp & Friends RAWK and some ROLL Show
Hey Friends,
It's been a long, long time since the Colonel has brushed the cobwebs off of his guitar and this website. For those of you that have been worried that we fell off the deep end of the Ballard Bridge... Good news! We have been invited to play a show.
Yes, it's true there will be RAWK and some ROLL on Friday June 9th, courtesy of The Blue Moon Tavern in heart of the old U District.
I think the last time I was stone drunk at the Blue Moon was well before Clinton was impeached for staining an ugly intern's dress (not that the Colonel completely disapproved of his *indiscretions*; he just wishes Clinton had better taste in interns and would zip up his panties long enough to roll on down to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to kick the shit out of Dubya. They could even do it in an octagon, a la the UFC, and charge $39.95 on pay per view - I would sure as hell watch it).
Details:
When: Friday, June 9th
Where: The Blue Moon Tavern, 712 NE 45th ST, Seattle, Phone: 206.675.9116
Bill: The Waiting Room (10:00 PM), Blue Star Creeper (11:00 PM), Porter Harp & Friends (12:00 PM)
Yours in Christ - and long live the Purple Cows,
Col. T. Porter Harp
PS Here are a couple of recent Blue Moon reviews:
"The scariest bar in Seattle." -- Tom Scanlon, Seattle Times
"The Blue Moon, by the way, is not a gig you take when things are going well...." Geoff Lott, comedian
